Effects of the Civil War to the North and South

The effects of war was great on America. The South and the North brought great dispare and destruction to the U.S. The south felt resentment to the North who was taking over their land. The south plantation owners felt as if they are being cheated out. The South was scared about all the rights that is going to be givin to the very slaves they owned and treated wrong. The South plantation owners are leaving  to another place instead of staying.
The North has won the battle and is on the charge to the fate of America. The South has retreated and slaves were  released. I am witness to the bloody battle with America fighting against eachother. As the South retreated they destroyed everything in their path. The reconstruction to the South is taking place as peace seems to be under order. The South is still not happy and their is a new secret group called the KKK. The KKK said that they want to scare African Americans into not voting.
Within three hours after Abraham Lincoln expired, Andrew Johnson took the oath of office as the seventeenth President of the United States. the Presidential life of Lincoln had been one long period of civil war. The rebelious states are one of political difficulty and struggle, in which the war seemed transferred from the nation to the government, and a bitter strife is arising  between Congress and the president. The task of reconstruction of the conquered territory is no light one, and can hardly, in any case,  achieved without some degree of controversy, but Johnson, who at first expressed himself in favor of severely punishing the rebellious States, is now placing  himself  in opposition to Congress.
